UVM Medical Center reopens inpatient rehab at Fanny Allen
The University of Vermont Medical Center says it has reopened its inpatient rehabilitation facility at its Fanny Allen campus in Colchester after working more than a year to solve an air quality issue. The issue made some staff feel dizzy and nauseated. The hospital says a team worked throughout last year with outside experts to assess and renovate Fanny Allen’s outdated system of filtration, ventilation, air conditioning and heating units. The Burlington Free Press reports that inpatient rehabilitation was relocated to UVM Medical Center’s main campus in late October 2020.
