Marc-Andre Fleury earned his 70th career shutout by stopping all of the 37 shots he faced during Saturday’s game against the Anaheim Ducks.

The Blackhawks were the only team to find the back of the net in this game. The goal scorers included Brandon Hagel, Patrick Kane, and Dominik Kubalik. Alex DeBrincat had two assists on the night. Erik Gustafsson, Riley Stillman, Jonathan Toews, and Calvin de Haan had an assist each.

In the Anaheim crease, Lukas Dostal made 33 saves on 35 shots for a save percentage of .943 and walked away with a loss.

NASHVILLE 3 BOSTON 4 OT

Craig Smith opened scoring in this matchup 3:20 into the first period. His goal was assisted by Patrice Bergeron and Brad Marchand.

Just over four minutes later, Mike Reilly extended the Bruins lead to 2-0. His goal was assisted by Erik Haula and Taylor Hall.

Colton Sissons got the Predators on the board 14:30 into the first. Dante Fabbro earned the sole assist on the play.

Luke Kunin tied the game up in the second. Nick Cousins and Mark Borowiecki notched assists on Kunin’s goal.

In the third, Brad Marchand gave Boston the lead again. His power play goal was assisted by Charlie McAvoy and Patrice Bergeron.

Roman Josi then tied the game up for the Predators. His goal was assisted by Philip Tomasino.

In overtime, Taylor Hall clinched the game-winner. His score was assisted by David Pastrnak and Urho Vaakanainen.

For Nashville, Juuse Saros made 40 saves on 44 shots for a save percentage of .909.

For the Bruins, Linus Ullmark allowed three goals on 29 shots for a save percentage of .897.

VANCOUVER 1 CAROLINA 4

Sebastian Aho opened scoring 8:17 into the first on the power play. His goal was assisted by Teuvo Teravainen and Tony DeAngelo.

Bo Horvat notched the only Canucks goal in this game 13:24 into the first. Luke Schenn was credited with the sole assist.

Early in the second, Vincent Trocheck scored. His goal was assisted by Andrei Svechnikov and Martin Necas.

Martin Necas then got a goal of his own just over three minutes later. This time Vincent Trocheck and Andrei Svechnikov were the helpers.

In the third, Steven Lorentz closed the scoring in this game. Brady Skjei and Brett Pesce earned assists on the play.

For Vancouver, Thatcher Demko made 29 saves on 33 shots for a save percentage of .879.

For the Hurricanes, Frederik Andersen allowed just one goal on 31 shots for a save percentage of .968.

WASHINGTON 2 NEW YORK 0

Tom Wilson opened scoring 4:35 into the first. His goal was assisted by Aliaksei Protas.

Later with just over ten seconds left in he game, Alex Ovechkin scored his 25th goal of the year. His empty-netter was assisted by Evgeny Kuznetsov and Nicklas Backstrom.
For Washington, Vitek Vanecek earned himself a 23-save shutout.

For the Islanders, Semyon Varlamov allowed one goal on 35 shots for a save percentage of .971.

COLUMBUS 2 FLORIDA 9

This was a game dominated by the Panthers. Anton Lundell and Carter Verhaeghe scored two goals each. Sam Bennett, Anthony Duclair, Jonathan Huberdeau, MacKenzie Weegar, and Ryan Lomberg were responsible for the remaining goals. Aaron Ekblad and MacKenzie Weegar had three assists on the night. Sam Reinhart tallied two helpers. Sam Bennett, Anthony Duclair, Jonathan Huberdeau, Aleksander Barkov, Eetu Luostarinen, Patric Hornqvist and Ryan Lomberg tallied one assist each.

For Columbus, Gustav Nyquist scored a goal two minutes into the third. Max Domi and Jake Bean earned assists on the goal.

Boone Jenner then closed scoring 10:50 into the third. His goal was assisted by Gustav Nyquist and Andrew Peeke.

For the Blue Jackets, Elvis Merzlikins allowed four goals on 15 shots during an ice time of 13:28. Joonas Korpisalo allowed five goals on 36 shots in the remaining 46:32.

On the Florida end, Sergei Bobrovsky made 28 saves on 30 shots for a save percentage of .933.

The Red Wings blanked the Sabres in this game. The goal scorers for Detroit were as follows: Tyler Bertuzzi assisted by Dylan Larkin and Filip Zadina, Robby Fabbri assisted by Tyler Bertuzzi and Lucas Raymond, Lucas Raymond assisted by Dylan Larkin and Vladislav Namestnikov, and Michael Rasmussen assisted by Tyler Bertuzzi and Filip Hronek.

For Buffalo, Aaron Dell allowed four goals on 39 shots for a save percentage of .897.

For the Red Wings, Alex Nedeljkovic earned himself a 22-save shutout.

DALLAS 1 TAMPA BAY 3

Esa Lindell scored the lone Stars goal 13:48 into the first. Joe Pavelski tallied the sole assist on the play.

Brayden Point got Tampa on the board with a power play goal scored three seconds before the end of the first. His goal was assisted by Nikita Kucherov and Victor Hedman.

In the third, Ross Colton extended the Lightning lead. His goal was assisted by Nikita Kucherov and Cal Foote.

Alex Killorn ended the game with an empty-net goal. Steven Stamkos and Anthony Cirelli tallied assists on the score.

For the Stars, Anton Khudobin made 26 saves on 28 shots for a save percentage of .929.

10:11 into the third, Cam York gave the Flyers their first and only lead of the game. His goal was unassisted.

Filip Chytil tied the game up 2-2 10:48 into the third. Artemi Panarin and Ryan Strome earned assists on the play.

Chris Kreider scored the game-winner 13:30 into the third. Adam Fox and Kaapo Kakko were credited with the assists on this goal.
