Our Beloved Summer Episode 12 sees a flashback to the documentary Choi Ung and Yeon Su did when they were in high school. It shows how the two seem to have adorable chemistry despite always bickering with each other.
At present, Choi Ung and Yeon Su start anew with their relationship. Choi Ung opens up about his childhood and that he was adopted. The revelation made Yeon Su want to protect him even more.
As they comfortably display their affection towards each other, the people around them also observe that they finally got back together.
On the other hand, Ji Ung falls ill, so Chae Ran insists that he go home and rest. While Choi Ung and Yeon Su were about to meet up, the former suddenly canceled and went to see Ji Ung.
After a couple of calls, Choi Ung decides to welcome himself inside Ji Ung’s apartment just to witness him suffering from a fever. On the other hand, Ji Ung falls ill, so Chae Ran insists that he go home and rest.
Choi Ung has this habit of telling Ji Ung all the important things that are happening in his life. His purpose in going to his apartment is to tell him about getting back with Yeon Su. He takes care of his childhood friend before leaving a couple of hours after his temperature drops to normal.
Meanwhile, Choi Ung surprises Yeon Su at work. They spend the remaining hours of the day together while doing the things they like. Choi Ung then brings Yeon Su to a museum where he plans to have his own exhibition soon.
Ji Ung bumped into NJ and was invited over for a drink. NJ expresses how disappointed and sad she is at the same time when she figures out that Choi Ung and Yeon Su got back together. However, she has no plans on giving up on his crush, which Ji Ung immediately seconded.
