Alert Port St. Lucie employee helps unresponsive motorist after crash

Port St. Lucie, Fl (treasurecoast.com) –  An alert Port St. Lucie employee helps an unresponsive motorist after crash he crashed into a cement truck.

On Jan. 5, Paul Lewis, a survey inspector for the Public Works department, noticed an A&G Concrete Pools truck swerving along Crosstown Parkway. Just as Paul began following the truck to make sure everything was OK, the driver rear-ended a cement truck.
Paul pulled over, ran to vehicle and noticed the driver was unresponsive, so he broke the truck’s window, turned off the ignition and stayed with the driver until paramedics arrived. Then, acting as though nothing had happened, Paul simply changed his shirt and went back to work.
According to A&G Pools, the gentleman had a seizure. The entire A&G team is very thankful for Paul being at the right place at the right time.
Not all heroes wear capes. (Sometimes they wear a City of Port St. Lucie shirt!)
