PlayStation 5 console
If you missed a PlayStation 5 before Christmas, there are still a few options available to you this weekend. While there have been very few stock drops for the PS5 in January, there’s a good chance we’ll get a restock over the weekend. The most likely contender is ShopTo, which traditionally tops up the device on a Sunday. PlayStation Direct is also a possibility, with the official Sony store dropping at random times. Then there are the second-hand markets, where prices are starting to fall. Express Online will keep this article up to date with the latest developments over the weekend. Links to all major retailers can be found below.
If you’re desperate for a PlayStation 5 and willing to spend a little extra, it’s worth checking out the Cash Converters website.
At the time of writing, the retailer currently has hundreds of PS5 consoles in stock, both in disc form and digitally.
Most PS5 consoles are brand new and packaged, although they have been unsealed to check the contents.
Consoles are currently available for £599 from Cash Converters, so check your local store for availability. Unboxed consoles are a bit cheaper, it just depends on what you’re looking for.
CEX also sells the PS5, only you’ll have to pay £650 to get your hands on a boxed console.
If you’re willing to go that high, head over to the CEX website, type in your zip code, and see if the console can be bought near you.
