Kemba Walker has officially been ruled out for the Knicks as New York prepares to take on the Hawks on Saturday night.

Walker has been listed as questionable for New York for over a week with a sore knee, which testing revealed no significant injury after missing a game against the Raptors back on Jan. 2. But Walker, who has battled injury in recent years, still isn’t ready to return to the court, and has missed the team’s last seven games.

The first of those seven games was a rest day, which came after Walker logged over 52 minutes in two games of a back-to-back.

Walker missed 10 games earlier in the year after being removed from the rotation by head coach Tom Thibodeau, then returned due to mounting COVID-19 cases. He responded by averaging 26 points per game over his next four contests, but suffered his knee injury soon after.
