Body found in MacArthur Park reservoir

LOS ANGELES (KNX) — The Los Angeles Fire Department reported the discovery of a body in the lake at MacArthur Park on Saturday morning.

First responders were dispatched shortly after 8 a.m. to the park at 2032 West Wilshire Boulevard in Westlake, according to an LAFD spokesperson. The victim appeared to have suffered a drowning death.

The identity, gender, and age of the drowning victim were not immediately disclosed. No further details were available.
