Philadelphia-area man, 78, dies in suburban Boynton Beach crash, PBSO says

BOYNTON BEACH — A 78-year-old Pennsylvania man died Thursday night in a crash in suburban Boynton Beach, the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office said.

Domenico A. Cerruti died at Delray Medical Center, where paramedics took him following the wreck at Flavor Pict and Hagen Ranch Roads, according to a crash report made public Friday.

Investigators said Cerruti, who lived in the Philadelphia suburb of Huntington Valley, was southbound on Hagen Ranch south of Flavor Pict when his 2019 Buick Enclave veered to the right, onto the road's raised shoulder and into a tree.

It was not clear from the report how fast the vehicle was traveling at the time of the crash.
