The two have backward compatibility support as well, offering native access on newer generation consoles. Aground is available to Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S owners, while Space Invaders Infinity Gene can be played on both those consoles as well as the old Xbox 360.

Survival is only the beginning. The only way for humanity to have a future is to return to the stars and confront them. But, it will require a lot of ingenuity and help to recover everything that was lost, and even that might not be enough…

Space Invaders Infinity Gene: Xbox 360

Space Invaders, the game that defined video games for generations, is back with a new twist! The game starts off looking like the classic Space Invaders, but as you play through the game, it evolves. Unlock new stages, new power ups, and new features. The full game features a total of 143 stages from both Normal Mode and the breathtaking Challenge Mode where stages change with each playthrough.

Keep in mind the previous Games with Gold bonus freebie NeuroVoider is still available for Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S owners to claim, with its promotion ending at the end of the month. Now with the two waves of January out of the way, an announcement about the February 2022 Gold titles should land soon.

All Xbox 360 games claimed via Games with Gold promotions will continue being playable even if the Xbox Live Gold subscription is discontinued. However, Xbox One games are only playable while the account has an active subscription.
