Bob Saget's Widow, Kelly Rizzo, Supported at Funeral by His TV Family, Friends

Mourners packed out the funeral of beloved comedian Bob Saget in Los Angeles on Friday.

Kelly Rizzo, who married Saget in 2018, wore her late husband's wedding ring threaded through a gold chain around her neck during the private funeral at Mount Sinai memorial park in Forest Lawn Cemetery, in the Hollywood Hills, People magazine reported.

Among attendees were comedians Dave Chappelle, Jimmy Kimmel and the cast of the TV show he starred in, Full House, including John Stamos, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen and Dave Coulier.

On the day of the service, Stamos tweeted that "today will be the hardest day of my life. God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can, and wisdom to know the difference."

Rizzo, host of Eat Travel Rock TV, retweeted the message, adding, "I love you, brother."

After Saget's death, Rizzo paid tribute to her late husband in a statement, calling him "my absolute everything" and telling how she was "completely shattered and in disbelief."

John Mayer, Jeff Ross, Kathy Griffin and Jonathan Silverman were among other celebrities seen arriving at the funeral service which so many people wanted to attend that folding chairs were brought out to handle the numbers.

Mourners spilled out onto the steps of the memorial hall overlooking the Warner Brothers studios in Los Angeles, Daily Mail reported.

Saget, 65, was found dead on Sunday in his hotel room at the Ritz-Carlton in Orlando, Florida while on his comedy tour, the night after a stand-up performance outside of Jacksonville.

Authorities announced on Monday that an autopsy did not indicate foul play or drug use although an official cause of death is not expected to be known for weeks.

Tributes for the star have been pouring in this week. Actor Jim Carrey tweeted that "he gave the world a lot of joy and lived his life for goodness' sake."

Comedian Nikki Glaser wrote: "I'll miss Bob Saget so much. He was as kind as he was funny." Meanwhile, Star Trek actor, George Takei, said he was "deeply saddened" to learn of Saget's "untimely" passing.

In an interview from 2020 that resurfaced after his death, Saget told Entertainment Tonight "I've got to live forever, I've got three daughters and a wife and a life, I can't die."

As well Rizzo, he leaves behind his daughters—Aubrey, 34, Lara, 32, and Jennifer, 29—from his marriage to Sherri Kramer.
