On the Jan. 14 broadcast of KBS2's "Music Bank," Kep1er performed their debut song "WA DA DA," which became a candidate for the first place together with IU's "Winter Sleep." Kep1er eventually took the win with 3,678 points over 3,570 points for IU.

This marks Kep1er's second win on a music show with "WA DA DA." The nine-member girl group previously won first place on Mnet's "M Countdown."

Kep1er debuted on Jan. 3, which means it has only been 11 days since then. This makes the nonet the fastest K-pop girl group to have two music show wins.

In addition to this, Kep1er is now tied with ITZY as the fastest K-pop girl group to win first place on KBS2's "Music Bank" in history (11 days).

Fans took to social media to celebrate and congratulate Kep1er on their second music show win for "WA DA DA." In their tweets, they included the hashtags "#WADADA2ndWin" and "#Kep1er2ndWin." These two hashtags trended in several countries around the world including Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Korea, Poland, and more. They even peaked at No. 6 and No. 3 on the worldwide trends respectively.

Kep1er's debut has been anticipated since the final debut lineup was revealed during the final episode of Mnet's latest girl group survival show "Girls Planet 999." And since they officially entered the K-pop scene, the nonet has attained several milestones already.

Kep1er's "FIRST IMPACT" Ranks No. 1 on the Gaon Weekly Album Chart + "WA DA DA" Enters Gaon Download Chart

In other news, Kep1er has debuted on the Gaon Chart with their first EP "FIRST IMPACT" and its title song "WA DA DA."

For the week of Jan. 2 to 8, Kep1er's "FIRST IMPACT" entered at No. 1 on the Gaon Weekly Album Chart, meaning it was the best-selling work within the said week. The EP also debuted at No. 1 on the weekly retail album chart after selling 121,812 total copies.

On the Gaon Weekly Download Chart, Kep1er's "WA DA DA" landed at No. 21, the highest rank among songs by new K-pop groups that debuted in 2021-22.

Meanwhile, "WA DA DA" continuously ranks on a few Korean music charts. On Jan. 15 as of 1 a.m. KST, the song placed No. 59 on Bugs after climbing 55 spots up from No. 114 and ranked No. 181 on Genie.

On MelOn, the largest streaming platform in South Korea, Kep1er's "WA DA DA" has recently surpassed one million streams, making the song the group's most-streamed track on the platform. All of the songs in their first EP have exceeded 120,000 streams on MelOn.

Over on YouTube, the "WA DA DA" MV is close to reaching 35 million views. Also, it is trending at No. 5 in the music category.
