A Fresno woman will now spend 10 years in prison in connection to two human trafficking cases back in 2017 and 2018.

According to the District Attorney’s Office and Clovis Police who helped with the investigation, 23-year-old Alexis Diaz also tried to prevent a witness from reporting a sex trafficking crime.

Diaz, officials say, was involved in the recruitment of victims, transportation, scheduling, and collecting the money.

The DA’s office says Diaz pleaded guilty back in Nov. 2021 and was eligible for probation, but a judge later revoked that eligibility.
