MSDH reports 9,300 new COVID-19 cases and 19 deaths statewide

Today MSDH is reporting an additional 9,300 cases of COVID-19 in Mississippi and 19 deaths.

Fifteen of these deaths occurred between January 2 and January 13. An additional four deaths occurred between December 27 and December 30, 2021, identified from death certificate reports.

Mississippi’s total of COVID-19 cases is now 634,628, with 10,625 deaths.
