EL SEGUNDO, Calif. — Oscar nominee Lady Gaga plays Patrizia Reggiani from the incredible true story depicted in Ridley Scott's new film "House of Gucci."

On "The LA Times Envelope Roundtable" on Spectrum News 1, Gaga opens up to host Amy Kaufman about doing the research for her real-life character.

"I considered reaching out to [Reggiani], but I ultimately decided after watching lots of interviews that she gave," said Gaga. "I made the decision to be a journalist in the way that I approached this character and work backwards and then take moments throughout her life that happened."

The roundtable also features actors Penélope Cruz, Kirsten Dunst, Jennifer Hudson, Kristen Stewart and Tessa Thompson. Click the arrow above to see Gaga discuss the film.
