Upcoming Marshall Fire meetings: How will destroyed homes be cleaned up?

BOULDER COUNTY, Colo. (KDVR) – Boulder County is set to host virtual meetings for residents impacted by the Marshall Fire.

Two meetings are scheduled: One is for those in unincorporated Boulder County and another is for those who are within Boulder County.

Unincorporated Boulder County

On Jan. 19 from 6 to 8 p.m., Boulder County will host an online community meeting for unincorporated Boulder County residents impacted by the Marshall Fire. The focus of this meeting will be on rebuilding for those with damaged or destroyed homes. 

Registration is required to attend.

According to Boulder County, the county and fire survivors from other catastrophes will present information, and residents will have a chance to ask questions related to rebuilding and permitting. Additionally, after information has been shared by presenters, the county will hold breakout listening sessions to allow opportunity to hear directly from participating residents.

A virtual town hall for Boulder County residents affected by the fire is set for Jan. 20 at 6 p.m. It will focus on two things: debris removal for destroyed homes and ongoing public health issues.
