PIKEVILLE, Ky. — Two Pikeville men are in jail after being accused of robbing a woman as she sat in her car at an apartment complex.

Pikeville Police were called to Peachtree Apartments Thursday night, after the woman reported being assaulted.

Police say 42-year-old Keith Little came out of an apartment after the woman dropped off Little’s mother after a grocery shopping trip. Little is accused of punching and choking the woman as she sat in her car, while another man, identified as 35-year-old William Leeper, allegedly came to the car and helped Little take items out of it. Police say Little and Leeper took the woman’s purse, wallet, medications, cash, debit cards and identification.

Both men were charged with first-degree robbery, while Little is additionally charged with strangulation. Little is also accused of struggling with police during his arrest and faces charges of resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and assaulting an officer with a bodily fluid.
