Nancy Pelosi's Son Involved With Five Companies Connected To Criminals & Fraudsters, Federal Investigations Reveal
Nancy Pelosi’s son, Paul Pelosi Jr., was reportedly once involved with five different companies that have been under investigation by federal authorities for their alleged ties to convicted criminals and known fraudsters.
According to Daily Mail, the Speaker of the House’s 52-year-old son was connected to the companies that were investigated by federal agencies either before, after, or even during his time with them.
Although Paul has never himself been charged for any crimes while with the companies, there is reportedly a paper trail that shows direct connections between the companies, and therefore potentially him, to a slew of criminals and other individuals known for committing fraud.
Paul Pelosi Jr.’s alleged ties to some of these companies include him being on the board of a biofuel company that was previously found guilty of defrauding its investors; he was president of an environmental investment firm that was allegedly found out to be a front for two convicted fraudsters; he was vice president of a company once probed for allegedly targeting senior citizens with scam calls; and he worked for a medical company that allegedly tested drugs on people without being authorized by the FDA.
But while Paul has clear ties to these allegedly corrupt companies, yet has also never been charged or accused of any crimes related to the companies’ wrongdoings, some reportedly speculate that he was only hired for roles in these operations because of his close familial ties to his mother Nancy.
In fact, this is not the first time Paul has been connected to embattled companies under investigation by federal authorities.
As far back as 2007, Nancy Pelosi’s son was hired as Senior Vice President of a data company called InfoUSA. The data company, which was run by a big Democratic donor named Vinod Gupta, was being criminal investigated by the Iowa Attorney General's Office since 2004, three years before Paul was brought on as Senior VP.
Although the investigation finished before Paul was brought in, some speculated even then that he was only hired due to his powerful family ties.
“I don't think that's really what happens,” he said in 2007 after being asked if he thought he was only hired because of his mother. “I don't see it that way, but I could see why you'd ask the question. I guess you always wonder why somebody hires you, right?”
