Konovalov cleared COVID-19 protocols and was on the ice Friday morning, Daniel Nugent-Bowman of The Athletic reports.
Konovalov should continue being an emergency goalie option on Edmonton's taxi squad after spending nearly a week in virus protocols. It would take multiple goalie injuries or COVID-19 designations on the NHL roster for Konovalov to make his debut.
