Police looking for armed man suspected of robbing central Pa. convenience store

A man armed with a rifle robbed a 7-Eleven in Harrisburg overnight Friday, police said.

Penbrook Borough police said the man around 2:23 a.m. entered the store on the 2800 block of Walnut Street. He was carrying a rifle with a white stock and sling, police said.

The man was wearing a tan jacket, blue coverall outfit, and dark-colored sneakers, police said. It’s unclear how much money he stole from the 7-Eleven.

Anyone with information on this man’s identity and/or his whereabouts is asked to call Penbrook police at 717-232-3844, Dauphin County Dispatch at 717-558-6900, or Dauphin County Crime Stoppers at 800-262-3080.

Police said a Crime Stoppers reward may be available for information leading to an arrest.
