Celebrity Weddings in 2022: Daniella Monet and Andrew Gardner

2021 was a whirlwind of a year for our favorite celebrity couples. But with all the shocking proposals from 2021 come extravagant weddings we’re dying to see in 2022. (Hint: we can’t wait for that punk-rock Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker wedding). But the 2020s have been nothing short of crazy, between the COVID-19 pandemic and all the postponing that comes with it. With this new year, we’re hoping — like, really hoping — to see some of our favorite celebrities’ nuptials at last.

It’s no secret that we love love and all the wedding deets that come with it. While some celebrities share every detail along the way, like Tarek El Moussa and Heather Rae Young, some celebrities like to keep the details quiet until they show the big day on their Instagrams. And sometimes, they even elope, popping up with wedding bands and announcing “we did it!” to their shocked friends, family, and fans. No matter how they go about it, we’re just excited to see the glittering photos along the way.

Victorious alum Daniella Monet and her boyfriend of over a decade, and fiance of five years Andrew Gardner married on Dec 29, 2022. They announced the marriage with a series of heartwarming, black-and-white photos captioned, “12,” “29,” and “22.”

The two share two children together named Gio James, 3, and Ivry, 1.

On Nov 19, 2022, Joe Biden’s granddaughter, Columbia Law graduate Naomi Biden married fellow lawyer Peter Neal at the White House. They married on the South Lawn, marking it as the first White House wedding to take place on that part of the sprawling estate.

After over four years together, Tiffany Trump and Michael Boulos tied the knot at her family’s Mar-a-Lago Club in a lavish ceremony. Trump and the businessman Boulos met back in 2018 at Lindsay Lohan’s club in Mykonos, Greece, dating for three years before getting engaged in Jan 2021.

Taylor Lautner and Taylor Dome are officially married! (Does that mean there are TWO Taylor Lautners now?!) The two met a few years back, revealing their relationship to the public in 2018. Lautner popped the question almost exactly a year ago on Nov 11, 2021, and the two married this past weekend at the Epoch Estate Wines, outside of Paso Robles, California.

Despite having a 21-year age difference, the pair have seemed super in love (and kept their relationship quite low-key over the years!) Beauty pageant queen Mari and Duhamel met through mutual friends back in 2019, getting engaged soon after in early 2022, per Page Six.

Christina Hall married realtor Josh Hall in April, celebrating with a second wedding in Maui on the first weekend of Sept. People confirmed it, showing gorgeous photos of the blushing bride in the intimate ceremony. Christina and Josh started dating back in the summer of 2021 before getting engaged less than three months later.

After three years of dating, E! News has confirmed Nikki Bella and Artem Chigvintsev tied the knot during an intimate summer ceremony in Paris. The Total Bellas star and Dancing With the Stars pro will be letting fans into the planning process of their big day in an early 2023 special with E! called Nikki Bella Says I Do. The couple also shares a two-year-old son named Matteo.

The Vanderpump Rules stars exchanged their vows in a stunning ceremony in front of close family and friends. “I just wanted us to have a good time with every person who is important to us,” Shay told People. News recently broke that Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are finally married! TMZ broke the story on July 17 after finding court documents allegedly stating that they obtained their marriage license, and soon, sources confirmed what everyone was hoping for. They allegedly eloped in Las Vegas!

Bennifer first got together in the early 2000s, getting engaged in Nov. 2002. However, the pair broke things off a few days before their wedding due to the overwhelming attention. They reconnected in 2021, getting engaged again soon after.

Beloved couple Jesse Plemons and Kirsten Dunst finally tied the knot! The two married in a private ceremony in Ocho Rios, Jamaica, and later confirmed it with PEOPLE.

The two originally met back on the set of Fargo in 2015, getting together one year later in 2016. The pair got engaged in 2017 and have since welcomed two sons named Ennis Howard and James Robert.

The Russian Doll actress took to Instagram to share snapshots from the couple’s wedding celebrations. “Yesterday was undoubtedly the greatest day of my life,” Sevigny began the caption to her post, which featured a photo of the Oscar nominee and Mačković going in for a smooch.

Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker are officially (and legally) married! The couple tied the knot in a low-key ceremony where they exchanged their vows and became husband and wife, per People. This comes just over a month after the two got hitched (not legally) in Las Vegas.

Bachelorette couple Jordan Rodgers and JoJo Fletcher finally tied the knot after a six-year engagement. They held a ceremony with their friends and family in mid-May. Fletcher rocked an Ines di Santo gown as she walked down the aisle, telling People, “It sounds cliché, but I really am marrying my best friend. Everything that’s happened in our relationship has only made us stronger. And we just feel so lucky.”
