Penitentiary Glen Reservation in Kirtland is hosting “Fun Day: Extreme Nature!” from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Jan. 17
The Lake Metroparks event is free and open to the public. No registration is required.
Guests can experience interactive exhibits, demonstrations, a naturalist-led scavenger trail and more. Other activities include hiking, interacting in Nature Play, a children’s outdoor wild play space, snowshoeing (weather permitting) and live animals up close in the Wildlife Center Yard.
