Emme Rylan Returns to Work!

Tags:

Fan-favorite actress Emme Rylan is back on set and we can’t wait to see her back on our screens again! After making her daytime debut as Lizzie Spaulding on GUIDING LIGHT, Rylan went on to earn even more fans as Abby Newman on THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS, and became even more popular when she starred as Lulu Spencer on GENERAL HOSPITAL

Unfortunately, Lulu was put into a coma, and Rylan was written out of GH in December 2020, and fans have been eagerly awaiting her return ever since. And while she’s been spending a lot of time with her family of late, she’s excited to finally be getting back to work! However, we’re sorry to say that the actress’ newest role is not a soap, but what looks like a horror film! “Late night shoot for a fun project!” Rylan captioned a photo of a car parked by a light filter in her Instagram Stories. “Feels so good to be back on a set!”

She then shared an additional selfie of herself smiling innocently as one of her co-stars menaces her with blood smeared all over his face and hands. Could Rylan be a victim in a new horror movie? Or might she be the killer and this guy her victim?

Although best known for her work in daytime, Rylan has appeared in films like Bring It On: All or Nothing and Impulse Black as well as primetime series like $#*! MY DAD SAYS and CSI. And she also starred as Sam in an episode of the horror anthology series ETHERIA titled “Shevenge,” which is available to watch on Amazon.com, so she’s no stranger to the genre!

While Rylan didn’t offer up any further details about her exciting new project or her role in it, we’re sure that she’ll share more information once it’s finished and about to be released. So keep checking back here at SoapsInDepth.com for the latest updates!
