There have been no shortage of rumors regarding the Hawks and interest in 76ers guard Ben Simmons. And while NBA columnist Sean Deveney does believe the Hawks interest in Simmons is real, he isn't sure that John Collins is the guy the 76ers will ask for in return.

"I'm not sure there's a lot of interest in John Collins on the part of the Sixers. I think they want something else. You are looking at a three-team thing, probably have to find a bad team that will facilitate all this," says Heavy.com NBA columnist Sean Deveney. "You can't have Capela and Simmons on the floor at the same time, but I think the Hawks will take their lumps on that and figure it out. I think the Reddish deal sets the Hawks up to possibly make some more arrangements to make a Ben Simmons trade."

John Collins is averaging 17.4 points and eight rebound per game this season, down from his career highs in the 2019-2020 season of 21.6 points and 10.1 rebounds per game.
