Coronation Street star shares Sally's reaction to Tim health news

Coronation Street star Sally Dynevor has revealed how her character Sally Metcalfe will react when she discovers the truth about Tim's secret.

After weeks of growing suspicious about Tim's out-of-character behaviour, Sally will soon discover the worrying truth about Tim and his ailing health.

In next week's Corrie, convinced that Tim is being unfaithful, Sally ultimately confronts her husband and demands to know what's going on.

The truth about Tim needing triple heart bypass surgery comes out in dramatic fashion, but despite the initial shock, Sally looks set to question their relationship.

"There are all sorts of emotions going through her head," Sally Dynevor explained, teasing the fallout of Tim's health scare. "She is scared and feels guilty but also hurt, angry and confused about why he hadn't told her.

"What does that say about their relationship that he has kept it from her?"

Reflecting on the couple's past, Sally added:"The issue is here that Tim has kept things from her before and she has forgiven him.

"But she really can't understand why he wouldn't tell her about this and that is going to be hard for her to cope with."

Although Sally will find some comfort when she learns that Tim has kept his news from Faye Windass and Elaine Jones, Dynevor admitted her character feels "embarrassed".

"He was doing it for the right reasons," the actress reasoned. "But [Sally] can't really see that at the moment."

Will Sally and Tim make it through this latest hurdle?
