Woman punches, slashes Bronx dry cleaner employee during dispute: NYPD

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are searching for a woman accused of violently assaulting an employee at a Bronx dry cleaner earlier this month, authorities said.

The incident occurred on Sunday, Jan. 2, at approximately 12:15 a.m., inside of the Super Aunder Center Dry Cleaner located at 2235 Grand Concourse in the Fordham Heights neighborhood.

According to police, the suspect approached a 60-year-old female store
employee, complaining about a dryer not functioning and verbal dispute ensued.

The suspect then punched the employee in the face, and slashed her right elbow with a plastic object, causing a minor laceration, officials said.

The suspect fled the location on foot, in an unknown direction.

The victim sustained a minor injury and refused medical attention.

Police described the suspect as an adult female, light complexion, medium build, with short dark curly hair. She was last seen wearing a black jeans, a grey sweater, eye glasses, a black t-shirt with letters on the front and black
sneakers.
