EastEnders spoilers follow.
EastEnders' Ben Mitchell will make a big decision tonight (January 14), in the wake of Pam Coker's return.
Ben (Max Bowden) will start to open up to his family after they stage an intervention – worried about his behaviour of late.
Ben has been on a downward spiral following Callum's shocking attack last week, haunted by traumatic memories of Paul's death.
Pam was able to get Ben to open up about his struggle, but his loved ones are still concerned about him in tonight's scenes.
Unable to get through to Ben, Callum speaks to Kathy about his fears for his husband.
Kathy decides to turn to Phil for help and Ben is shocked when he arrives home to find that his family are all there waiting for him.
As Callum, Kathy and Phil urge him to talk to them about what's going in, Ben explains that he is tired of fighting and is scared for his safety. He then makes another shock admission, but what is it? And how will his family react?
Max Bowden, who plays Ben, recently teased a 'strained' year ahead for popular couple Ben and Callum.
Speaking to Digital Spy following their triumph as 'Best Couple' at last year's Inside Soap Awards, Max said: "I think the next 12 months are going to be very strained.
"There are going to be several moments that test their love for each other, and their ability to care for each other. So watch this space!"
EastEnders airs these scenes tonight (January 14) at 8.30pm on BBC One.
