Would you say the Monroes are the best family in Eastenders right now

I think they are great and they played by decent actors who are playing their roles really well

They’re the most watchable thing about the show at the minute. Three very complex characters played by fantastic actors.

I completely agree. They've been a wonderful addition to the show.

Nope, Dana is dim and useless pathetic waste of space on the show boring needs axing, Aaron played by excellent character but has a shelf life, Harvey is a closet racist so no bugger to the whole lot of them.

    Bring back Chrissie Watts.

Also Owen, this is quite early for you to post your nightly thread. Usually it's 23:50.

This. All strong chsracters imo whereas every other family has a dud with the exception of the Foxes but I am getting fed up of Denise and Chelsea now.

Don’t like Dana, as I don’t like Bobby, thereby she’s guilty of association, as i find the relationship to be awfully serious for two teenagers, thereby isn’t believable. Aaron’s really intriguing, and I hope he can be redeemed, and Harvey is someone who I couldn’t care for until, they involved him in Aaron’s story whereby he’s become a much more important character, as it has highlighted Ross Boatman’s capabilities as an actor.

They're an interesting set of characters played by great actors. I'd certainly rather watch them than than most of what's currently on offer.

I think Charlie is a fabulous actor as is Ross, they remind me of families and stories EastEnders used to play every week. They are believable which is the main thing. And despite some clunky bits in the script the deliver well. I hope the far right story is maybe just a beginning into other stories for them as I think they would also tackle a less controversial story better if Aaron was made into a likeable character and they move on from it. It would be a waste to lose Charlie from the show simply because of the character.

No Dana is the best, Harvey is boring and a wet fish and Aaron can’t see him being long term

Apart from the odd episode there dull

Harvey used to be dull until this storyline imo.

Then clearly you haven’t been watching the show since October as since Aaron arrived they’ve been the centre of a big storyline.

When it was just Dana I thought wtf os she when it she was on the appearance count.

They’re OK. Nothing special really. Given Aaron is a hardcore racist, it’s difficult to see how he could be redeemed at this point. And I wouldn’t want to see that. They have a responsibility to show the repercussions and consequences of his actions, not “redeem” him just because he’s played by a good actor who makes the family “interesting”.

The two male characters have been great

I thought Aaron was crap to start off with, flashing a bit of cash, playing the businessman in a right over the top way, but think he has played his character really well as his dark side appeared.

Also seeing his dad wrestling with his conscience with wanting to protect his son has been interesting

Am ambivalent about Dana to be honest - been Ok as a tool to link her brother and Bobby's religion but that's it

I've been a huge fan of the Monroe's. Harvey especially.
