Netflix’s upcoming new improvised scripted comedy series Murderville premieres February 3. Based on the British series Murder in Successville, Murderville sees celebrity guests team up as Will Arnett’s partner on a new murder case. Each episode’s guest star isn’t being given the script. They have no idea what’s about to happen to them. Together, the guest star and Terry Seattle (Arnett) will have to improvise their way through the case… but it will be up to each celebrity guest alone to name the killer. The celebrities featured in the six episodes are Annie Murphy, Conan O’Brien, Ken Jeong, Kumail Nanjiani, Marshawn Lynch, Sharon Stone.

Netflix’s Shadow and Bone began production on season two by announcing new cast members and promotions to series regular. Anna Leong Brophy, Patrick Gibson, Lewis Tan and Jack Wolfe  will join the new season as series regulars with Danielle Galligan, Daisy Head and Calahan Skogman being promoted to series regulars after recurring in the first season. Season two will again consist of eight episodes. 

HBO Max has ordered a new Degrassi series set to premiere in 2023. The teen series about a group of students at Degrassi will consist of ten hour long episodes, as opposed to the half hour run in the previous incarnation. HBO Max will also be the home for the fourteen seasons of Degrassi: The Next Generation. Episodes will also air on Cartoon Network at a later date. The previous versions of the series ran on Teen Nick and Netflix. 

The CW is developing another entry into the Arrowverse. David Ramsey is set to potentially star in Justice U. After spending years fighting alongside masked heroes, John Diggle embarks on a new mission to recruit five young meta humans to live undercover as freshmen at a prestigious university. There he will oversee their education and train them to become the heroes of tomorrow.

NBC has ordered a pilot for a potential Quantum Leap sequel series. It’s been 30 years since Dr. Sam Beckett (Scott Bakula) stepped into the Quantum Leap accelerator and vanished. Now a new team has been assembled to restart the project in the hopes of understanding the mysteries behind the machine and the man who created it. Bakula is not officially involved yet, though discussions are ongoing. The original time travel series ran for five seasons. 

Fox’s upcoming new mockumentary comedy series Welcome To Flatch premieres March 17 at 9:30. On the same day, Fox will release the first seven episodes of the series on Hulu, Fox Now and On Demand. The series is based on the British series This Country. The series follows a documentary crew that sets out to explore the lives of residents in a small American town, their dreams and their concerns. They stumble upon the midwestern town of Flatch, which is made up of many eccentric personalities. It’s a place you want to visit and maybe even stay. If there was a decent motel. Which there is not.

Kid Cosmic returns for its third and final season February 3. Kid’s superhero dreams come true as the Local Heroes become Earth’s greatest champions. But is something amiss with this ridiculously awesome adventure? 

Netflix’s Love is Blind returns for a second season February 11. Singles who want to be loved for who they are, rather than what they look like, have signed up for a less conventional approach to modern dating in Chicago where they hope to meet the person they want to spend the rest of their lives with…without ever having seen them. With no distractions from the outside world, the singles talk to a stream of potential love interests and when a meaningful connection is made, they propose and then lay their eyes on their fiancé for the first time. The ten episode season is hosted by Nick and Vanessa Lachey. 

HBO Max’s Raised By Wolves returns for season two February 3. Android partners Mother and Father, along with their brood of six human children, join a newly formed atheistic colony in Kepler 22 b’s mysterious tropical zone. But navigating this strange new society is only the start of their troubles as Mother’s “natural child” threatens to drive what little remains of the human race to extinction. 

Netflix has canceled Gentefied after two seasons. The second season premiered on the streamer in November. 

Disney+ is developing a series followup to the 2011 movie Real Steel. The film starred Hugh Jackman, Evangeline Lilly and Anthony Mackie and followed a father who teams up with his estranged son to build and train a championship robot for a last shot at redemption. The film was based on the 1956 short story Steel by Richard Matheson. 

The 27th Annual Critics Choice Awards have been rescheduled to air March 13 on The CW and TBS. Taye Diggs and Nicole Byer are set to host the in person event live. 

Sendhil Ramamurthy has joined the cast of CBS’s Good Sam in a recurring role. He will play psychotherapist Asher Pyne, hospital administrator Vivian’s serene and centered new spouse. Dr. Pyne will help Vivian navigate the strained personal and professional relationship between her daughter, Dr. Sam Griffith, and ex-husband, Dr. Rob “Griff” Griffith. The series airs Wednesdays on CBS. 

Epix has renewed Godfather of Harlem for a ten episode third season. The series stars Forest Whitaker and tells a story inspired by infamous crime boss Bumpy Johnson, who in the early 1960s returned from eleven years in prison to find the neighborhood he once ruled in shambles. Season Three will find Bumpy Johnson continuing to battle for control of Harlem, with other aspirants to the throne, namely the Cuban Mafia from neighboring Spanish Harlem. Taking on the Cuban mob will put Bumpy, his loved ones, and his community in the crosshairs of not only the rival Italians, but ruthless Latin assassins and, ultimately, the CIA.

60 Minutes+ has been canceled at Paramount+ after one season. The series was led by correspondents Laurie Segall, Enrique Acevedo, Seth Doane and Wesley Lowery. It featured longer segments similar to the original series. 

The fourth and final season of BBC America’s Killing Eve has promoted Camille Cottin to series regular. The new season will also see Anjana Vasan and Robert Gilbert join as series regulars with Marie-Sophie Ferdane set to recur. Season four premieres February 27. 

Murray Bartlett is joining the cast of hulu’s upcoming eight episode Chippendales origin story series Immigrant. Bartlett will portray producer/choreographer Nick De Noia. The series stars Kumail Nanjiani as Chippendales founder Somen “Steve” Banerjee. 

Power Book II: Ghost has added three new series regulars for season three. Those cast in the Starz series are David Walton, Monique Curnen and Moriah Brown.

Take Out with Lisa Ling sees Lisa Ling travel from the bayous of Louisiana to Orange County’s Little Saigon where she explores some of the most beloved foods while shining a long overdue spotlight on the contributions Asian Americans have been making to this country, since before the United States was even the United States. The series premieres on HBO Max January 27. 

Peacock’s new animated series Supernatural Academy is an adaptation of the book series “The Supernatural Academy” by Jaymin Eve. The series chronicles an otherworldly adventure of sisters marked at birth. One twin sister was raised in the Supernatural world, confident and popular. The other was raised in the human world, an offbeat outsider. Now they’re about to be reunited at the Supernatural Academy, and neither one of them is thrilled about it. These adversarial twins will have to learn to get over their differences and trust each other in order to save themselves – and save the world! It premieres on Peacock January 20. 

Season five of Ready To Love premieres on OWN January 28. Host Tommy Miles is back following a dynamic Season 4 to help a new group of single men and women find love in the DMV area. The new cast of men and women are looking for love from Maryland, Virginia and the D.C. area. With the shift to online dating apps, swiping right, and DMs, the journey to find love has turned into a numbers game. This season, Tommy will guide the singles to find more meaningful and lasting relationships by shifting the focus from quantity to quality, and announcing that there will be only 14 singles to start the journey: seven men and seven women. Every week, the power shifts between the fellas and the ladies as they decide who just isn’t ready to love. But just like the mighty Potomac River, Tommy has twists and turns planned, including surprise blind dates to add NEW SINGLES to the mix. By the end, only the strongest couples will remain to decide whether they are genuinely Ready to Love. 

Twenty Five Twenty One premieres on Netflix February 12. In a time when dreams seem out of reach, a teen fencer pursues big ambitions and meets a hardworking young man who seeks to rebuild his life.

The Roku Channel’s new docuseries The Fix is based on ‘Chasing the Scream: The First and Last Days of the War on Drugs’ by Johann Hari and narrated by Samuel L. JacksonThe series debunks common misunderstandings about drugs & addiction in the US. It will premiere January 21.
