NeoCore Games announced that their turn-based RPG will take a little longer to release but it should inconvenience the players too much.

King Arthur: Knight's Tale release date has been moved from February 15 to March 29, 2022. In total, this is a six-week delay and according to the official announcement, this extra time is to be used for additional polishing in order to provide a better game from the get-go.

Considering the past releases of NeoCore Games, it looks like they are trying to provide a satisfying experience sooner than before. For example, Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor - Martyr wasn't that well-received initially but the game essentially had a relaunch after numerous systems had been overhauled and it is now a genuinely good ARPG.

Anyway, on the topic of King Arthur, those who are impatient to get their hands on the adventures of Mortred can already play the game, albeit in a limited capacity. The game is available in Steam Early Access and you can play through the entire first Act this way. The full release will just add the rest of the story and the endgame mode to finish the product.

Keep in mind that both release dates mentioned above, the old and the new one, relate to the launch on Steam

Console fans will eventually get the game but PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S releases are coming at a later, currently unspecified date.
