New Orleans’ own Grammy-nominated soul, R&B, hip hop, and spoken word band Tank and the Bangas will perform with the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra Friday, Jan. 14 at Orpheum Theater.
The concert will also feature special guest New Orleans native, PJ Morton, the three-time Grammy-winning musician, singer, songwriter and record producer.
Tarriona "Tank" Ball joined WDSU's Christina Watkins during WDSU News at Noon to discuss what to expect at Friday's show.
It begins at 7:30 p.m. Click here for tickets.
All guests 5 years and older must show proof of vaccination or a negative test within 72 hours in order to enter the Orpheum. Masks are also required for all audience members as part of New Orleans' COVID-19 restrictions.
Tank and the Bangas performed with LPO in 2021 for a virtual show. This will be their first live, in-person concert.
The group was also featured on TODAY in 2020 to discuss their first Grammy nomination for Best New Artist.
