Suffolk police say a 7-year-old girl was found unresponsive in a pool at a hotel in Melville Thursday.

Katlyn Pineda was found unresponsive in a pool by a family member at the Marriott Melville Long Island Hotel at 1350 Walt Whitman Road at around 4:50 p.m.

Pineda, a Bronx resident, was transported to Plainview Hospital in critical condition.

She was then transported to Cohen Children's Medical Center in Queens.
