CALDWELL COUNTY –One person was injured in an accident just before 9a.m. Thursday in Caldwell County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2002 Ford Taurus driven by Abigail M. Cline, 18, Polo, was southbound on Pikes Road four miles west of Polo.
The Ford crossed the center line and struck the drivers side of a northbound 2019 Toyota Tacoma driven by Justin c. Wilson, 45, Lee's Summit.
A private vehicle transported a 5-year-old boy in the pickup to Excelsior Springs Hospital. The drivers were not injured. All three were properly restrained, according to the MSHP.
