MLW deciding to sue WWE is a big surprise. As we previously reported here on eWn, MLW claims that WWE pressured FOX into canceling the plans for a deal between MLW and FOX-owned Tubi, as well as interfering in their deal with VICE.
In an update, Pwinsider is reporting that WWE’s influence over VICE is due to A&E owning 40% of it, and WWE has been airing programs on A&E for some time now.
The thought is that WWE put pressure on A&E, while A&E did the same to VICE also considering that VICE airs Dark Side Of The Ring, a series that often brought to light things that WWE would prefer to have well hidden.
