Oti Mabuse has made some cryptic comments about her future as a Strictly Come Dancing professional now that she's joined Dancing on Ice as a judge.

The last year has seen Oti load up her schedule with ITV projects, including presenting an upcoming dating show and joining The Masked Dancer as a judge as well.

All of these jobs only add to questions about whether Strictly Come Dancing fans have seen the last of her in the ballroom, but Oti was coy when asked about her future with the BBC show by Digital Spy and other media.

She answered: "There will be an announcement that will be made later but I think for me, as a person in entertainment, I really want to learn and I want to grow and I want a long career, especially in this country, like I moved all the way from Africa!

"So I have to make something of myself. So I'm really trying to learn and do as much as I can, for as long as I can, while I can."

While Oti is no stranger to judging reality shows, she revealed that she has leaned on sister and Strictly Come Dancing judge Motsi Mabuse for support and advice.

"So we're really close, my sis and I, and what we know from sharing a mom and dad is that we're quite loud and we literally are so bubbly, and her advice to me was just to be myself," she said.

"I think everyone from the BBC who literally congratulated me and said the same thing. Just be yourself, be honest. Say what you see and say what you feel and say how you kind of hope they would improve and how they can better themselves because at the end of the day, it's about the celeb.

"It's about the show and it's about helping them get better to actually win."

Dancing on Ice will return on January 16, airing on ITV.
