Country music fans have been patiently biding their time since Maren Morris released her last album, Girl, back in 2019, and it’s paid off! On Friday, January 7, Maren released her much-anticipated new single, “Circles Around This Town," and fans are beyond thrilled.

The song — with lyrics like “Thank god I was an optimist,” “So many times, I thought about lеavin',” and “I still get lost, I still get found”— is about Maren’s rise to fame in an industry that can be challenging to say the least. And it’s safe to say, her fans couldn’t be more elated about the release.

“Anyone who has watched and followed her journey of her following her dreams can see how truly gifted she is,” one fan commented on the YouTube video. “It’s so beautiful to see people succeed and have full circle moments and can look back on everything that got them to where they are! This is truly beautiful and I cannot wait to see the new era blossom! 2022 is gonna be an awesome year!”

“AMEN!! The ultimate anthem for songwriters trying to make the world a better place! “LOVED this with all my heart!” another fan chimed in. “Maren never fails to deliver quality music. What a song. Can’t wait for the new album which hopefully isn’t too far away,” someone else commented.

It's true: Maren's album drop isn't too far away.

She announced on Twitter that her third album, Humble Quest, will be available on March 25. It includes 11 tracks, including of course, "Circles Around This Town."
