My Hero Academia: Ultra Rumble Hero platforms & is there a release date yet?

Right now there is no known release date for My Hero Academia: Ultra Rumble, but it has been confirmed that the game will be coming to Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC.

Considering the game has already hosted a testing beta, however, it’s expected that the anime-themed battle royale will be aiming for a 2022 release date. This could give the developers time to pivot things from the beta, before dropping the full title.

My Hero Academia: Ultra Rumble Gameplay

My Hero Academia’s first foray into the battle royale genre will bring a few twists and turns to the tried-and-true battle royal formula.

In the anime’s take on the genre, three teams of eight will be dropped into an area, with selected characters each determining the abilities — or “Quirks” that can be used on the battlefield. Players will go up against one another in combat with one team claiming victory.

Collectible cards that can provide power-ups will be available around the map, and there will also be endangered civilians scattered around the field; some teams will have to rescue them as secondary objectives, while others will have to stop them.
