McGinn (not injury related) will not be in the lineup versus the Kings on Thursday having just left the COVID-19 protocols. Coach Mike Sullivan told reporters, "McGinn is available tonight, but he will not play...he has been stuck in his hotel room in Dallas for five days."
Despite McGinn not being available Thursday, the fact that he has cleared protocols should give him time to get back to game speed heading into Saturday's clash with the Sharks. In the meantime, Radim Zohorna and Anthony Angello figure to remain in bottom-six roles while McGinn is sidelined.
