Imagine Dragons & J.I.D.’s ‘Enemy’ Crowns Rock Streaming Songs Chart

It's Imagine Dragons' record-setting fifth No. 1, breaking out of a tie with Twenty One Pilots.

“Enemy,” Imagine Dragons and J.I.D.‘s team-up from the Arcane: League of Legends soundtrack, takes No. 1 on Billboard‘s Rock Streaming Songs chart, jumping to the top of the Jan. 15-dated tally.

In the Dec. 31-Jan. 6 tracking week, “Enemy” earned 9.2 million U.S. streams, a 6% gain, according to MRC Data.

“Enemy” was the highest ranking non-holiday entry on Rock Streaming Songs the three preceding weeks (starting with the Dec. 25, 2021, ranking), and now reigns following the holiday season, during which Chuck Berry‘s classic “Run Rudolph Run” led for five frames.

“Enemy” is Imagine Dragons’ fifth Rock Streaming Songs No. 1, the most in the chart’s nine-year history. The band breaks out of a tie for the lead with Twenty One Pilots. Willow Smith (two) is the only other act with multiple leaders.

The song is rapper J.I.D.’s first Rock Streaming Songs ruler in his first appearance.

Concurrently, “Enemy” bullets at its No. 3 high on Alternative Streaming Songs, where GAYLE‘s “abcdefu” rules for a sixth week. On the all-format Streaming Songs survey, “Enemy” debuts at No. 21.

On the radio side, “Enemy” jumps into the top 10 of the all-rock-format, audience-based Rock & Alternative Airplay list, leaping 12-7 with 2.7 million audience impressions, up 29%. It’s Imagine Dragons’ 12th top 10 on the tally, slotting the band into a tie with Shinedown for the fourth most. Foo Fighters lead all acts with 14.

On the multi-metric Billboard Hot 100, “Enemy” ascends to a new No. 48 high and bullets at its No. 6 best on Hot Rock & Alternative Songs. It also hits a new No. 8 highpoint on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. chart and reaches the Billboard Global 200‘s top 10, at No. 9.
