Drake Joins Elite Double-Double Club on Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums Chart With ‘Certified Lover Boy’

The album gets 10 weeks atop R&B/Hip-Hop Albums and gives the superstar a rare achievement.

Drake’s Certified Lover Boy hits a milestone 10th week at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart, as the set rebounds from No. 4 to lead the list dated Jan. 15. The album earned 37,000 equivalent album units in the corresponding tracking week, ending Jan. 6, according to MRC Data, up 2% from the prior week.

Thanks to Certified Lover Boy reaching double-digits at No. 1, Drake becomes the 10th artist to have two projects each rule Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums for 10 or more weeks since the list began in 1965.
