Project GLOW festival to debut in Washington, DC this spring with Seven Lions, John Summit, GRiZ, and more

The capital’s first-ever electronic music festival is coming to Washington, DC’s RFK Festival Grounds from April 30 – May 1. Project GLOW, hosted by Insomniac Events and DC-based promotions company Club Glow, will attract a smattering of acts including Dancing Astronaut‘s Breakout Artist of 2021 John Summit, one of our Artists to Watch in 2022 Cloonee, Martin Garrix, SLANDER, Noizu, Seven Lions, and many more, with additional acts to be announced in the months leading up to the festival.

Project GLOW is a benchmark moment for the Glow brand, which was established in 1999 and has since brought more than 150 electronic events annually to the Washington, DC area. “Project GLOW has been 20 years in the making. It’s been my dream as a native Washingtonian to do a festival in DC proper and I’m so thankful for the opportunity to continue to grow here,” said Glow President & CEO Pete Kalamoutsos. “After the successes that 2021 brought to Club Glow, Soundcheck, and Echostage, we’re ready to start this next chapter and welcome everyone to Project GLOW.”

“It’s been our dream to bring a festival to DC for a long time and it’s finally become a reality,” added Heather Church, VP of Talent & Marketing. “I can’t wait to show everyone what we have in store for the first Project GLOW festival.”

Project GLOW’s installation follows Insomniac’s February 2020 acquisition of Club Glow and two of its famed dance venues, Echostage and Soundcheck.

GA and VIP tickets to the inaugural iteration of Project GLOW are now available for purchase here.
