Adidas x Prada Re-Nylon collection is back and better than ever. And in this iteration, the collaboration offers an assortment of ready-to-wear pieces as well as hats, backpacks, and bags.
When Miuccia Prada first implemented the humble nylon fabric into her designs back in 1984, she did so with the Vela backpack. It was a groundbreaking moment for the world of luxury fashion—one of the most memorable fusions of practicality and luxury. In the same vein, both Adidas and Prada are continuing to push the boundaries on the way we think about elevated athleticwear, rooting its latest collection in sustainable practices.
In 2019, Prada emphasized its focus on sustainability by debuting the first Re-Nylon collection—a five-product assortment of bags and belts cut from a recycled nylon textile.
I’m sure you’ve seen street-style stars and influencers with the crossbody bags slung over their shoulders. Those same sustainable fibers are woven throughout the new Adidas x Prada Re-Nylon collection, from a zip-up jacket trimmed in Adidas’s trademarked three stripes to backpacks lined in Prada’s signature Saffiano leather.
