Bling Bling! These Celebrity Engagement Rings Added Some Shine to 2022: Carats, Cuts, Details

Nadia Ferreira unveiled her massive bauble from fiancé Marc Anthony on May 13. According to The Diamond Pro’s Mike Fried, who didn’t design Nadia’s ring:

“The gigantic diamond on Nadia’s ring is likely at least 10 carats, and I’d estimate the value to be an impressive half-million dollars. The center stone looks to be an emerald cut flanked by tapered baguettes for a gorgeous three-stone ring. Although the value doesn’t match what he spent on J. Lo’s ring, the personalized design of this ring shows the couple’s unique relationship and future together.”

Sofia Richie’s engagement ring likely features a 4 to 5-carat rock, Brilliant Earth’s SVP of merchandising and retail expansion, Kathryn Money, tells In Touch.

“Sofia’s beautiful ring appears to feature a 4-5 carat emerald cut set on a very classic, timeless delicate yellow gold band,” Kathryn says. “This gorgeous ring touches on trends of understated elegance when it comes to these solitaire styles featuring yellow gold mixed with elongated diamond shapes.”

With the uniqueness and elegance in mind, the price point of the ring is $100,000 and $150,000, “depending on the quality and specific characteristics of the center and side stones,” Kathryn reveals.

The “On My Way” artist flashed her new rock as she announced her engagement to Ben Affleck one year after they reunited in an April 8 video that was published on her “On the JLo” newsletter. The stunning ring featured an elegant green stone.

According to GIA certified gemologist and founder of The Clear Cut, Olivia Landau, (who did not design Jennifer’s ring):

“The new ring appears to be around a 5-6 carat fancy green cushion cut diamond set with white diamond side stones that look like trillions. This is actually a very similar style ring to the first engagement ring that Ben proposed with.”

Olivia continued, “In 2002, J. Lo first received a 6 carat fancy pink radiant cut diamond, set in a three stone ring with white diamond step cut trapezoids by Harry Winston. In 2002, this ring was valued around $2.5 million. In today’s market, J. Lo’s fancy pink radiant cut ring by Harry Winston would cost approximately $4 million+.”

“Although both rings feature rare fancy colored diamonds, her new green diamond seems to be more mature and edgy versus her original feminine pink diamond,” Olivia added. “Recently, Jennifer mentioned the color green symbolizing many important moments and lucky moments in her life, so it’s fitting!”

“The center oval cut diamond looks approximately 7-9 carats and set in platinum, a naturally white metal, which makes the diamonds sparkle even brighter! There are also micro pavé diamonds around the thin platinum band,” she said. “I would estimate this ring costs $325,000. An oval cut diamond elongates the finger, and is also the diamond shape that Travis Barker selected when he recently proposed to Kourtney Kardashian.”

To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before star Lana Condor melted when her boyfriend of six years, Anthony De La Torre, proposed to her with a stunning oval-cut diamond ring with smaller diamonds on the side. He even paid tribute to her heritage when it came to the ring’s designer.

The Jennifer’s Body actress flaunted her emerald and diamond engagement ring in MGK’s Instagram post, with him detailing that jewelry designer Stephen Webster created from his “No Regrets Chapel” line. 
“Created in 18-carat white gold, pave set with colorless natural diamonds,” Stephen shared in an Instagram post on January 13. “The diamond is a D color antique cut and the emerald an extraordinary completely untreated Columbian gem.”
