Barbie will be released on July 21, 2023.

Coming this summer is an all-new Alien comic series from writer Phillip Kennedy Johnson and artist Julius Ohta, which will depict the deadly xenomorph serving as a treacherous threat, but also as potentially being the key to humanity's salvation. One Piece: Red is the fifteenth movie of the popular swashbuckling Shonen franchise, dropping this summer and promising to bring back Red-Haired Shanks into the fold. The campaign to Save Daredevil has finally paid off. Daredevil was cancelled by Netflix in 2018 because Disney had its eyes on expanding the Marvel Cinematic Universe to take over television as well. Unlike most cancelled shows, Daredevil was critically acclaimed and wildly popular, and fans have consistently campaigned for Disney and Marvel to bring it back in some capacity. With both Charlie Cox and Vincent D'Onofrio now officially in the MCU, that time has come, and a Daredevil revival is coming to Disney+.

The first look at the return of High School Musical: The Musical: The Series has officially arrived. On Friday, Disney+ released a first look clip from the series' upcoming third season, which is expected to debut on Disney+ later this summer. The clip was released alongside the news that the show has already been renewed for a fourth season. The clip not only provides a look at what the series' cast and crew will be up to at the summer sleepaway camp of Camp Shadow Lake, but reveals the first footage of original High School Musical star Corbin Bleu on the series. Bleu, who previously played Chad Danforth across the High School Musical movies, will be portraying a fictionalized version of himself in the new season.

The song and dance of High School Musical: The Musical: The Series is far from over. On Friday, Disney+ announced that it has renewed the live-action series for a fourth season, over two months before the show's Season 3 premiere on July 27th. The series draws inspiration from the beloved Disney Channel movie franchise of the same name, and is even set to include original High School Musical cast member Corbin Bleu in its upcoming third season. Since premiering in 2019, the series has broken records, with 2 billion combined streams to date for its already-released soundtrack albums.

Now, the actors are back as Obi-Wan Kenobi and Darth Vader for the Obi-Wan Kenobi series on Disney+. After nearly three years, Stranger Things is finally returning for its fourth season next week. The new season is expected to have some extra long episodes and will be split into two parts before the upcoming fifth season, which will mark the show's last. This week marked 20 years since Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones hit theatres, which is perfect timing considering there's a lot of love for the prequels going around thanks to the upcoming Obi-Wan Kenobi series. The new Disney+ show will mark 17 years since Ewan McGregor played the beloved Jedi, and he's been reminiscing about his time in the franchise and learning that there are a lot more prequel fans than he thought. Today, McGregor took part in an Obi-Wan Kenobi press conference and talked about making Attack of the Clones, and revealed an interesting behind-the-scenes fact.

A decade after Emperor Palpatine (Ian McDiarmid) ushered in the Great Jedi Purge with Order 66 in Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith, Darth Vader (Hayden Christensen) orders the Grand Inquisitor (Rupert Friend) — along with Reva Sevander, a.k.a. the Third Sister (Moses Ingram), and the Fifth Brother (Sung Kang) — to hunt down what's left of the near-extinct Jedi.

The Winchesters are back on The CW. Today, fans were treated to the first trailer for the upcoming Supernatural spinoff series The Winchesters. The Winchesters will recount the epic, untold love story of how John met Mary and how they put it all on the line to not only save their love, but the entire world. The series will star The In Between's Drake Rodger as John, and American Housewife's Meg Donnelly as Mary. The cast will also include Legacies alum Bianca Kajlich as John's mom, Mary, as well as Jensen Ackles, who returns to his Supernatural role of Dean Winchester as the series' narrator, and also executive produces the series.

The series is set to bring back Ewan McGregor as the titular character and Hayden Christensen as Darth Vader, as well as introduce us to a major Star Wars antagonist in live-action. The series will bring Star Wars: Rebels villain the Grand Inquisitor to live-action and he will be played by Rupert Friend. During a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, the actor gave a little insight into his character.

DC's Black Adam is just a few months away from debuting in theaters, and the cast and crew have been hard at work adding additional footage to the upcoming project. Chronicling the experience has been producer and star Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, who has been open on social media about the experience of portraying the titular DC antihero. Late Friday night, Johnson took to Instagram to share yet another look at the experience, sharing two new black-and-white behind-the-scenes photos of him acting directly to camera. "Rage against the dying of the light," Johnson's caption reads. "The hierarchy of power in the DC Universe is changing.
