Coronation Street's Sally Metcalfe is set to resort to extreme measures in upcoming scenes, as she begins to suspect that husband Tim is having an affair.
In reality, Tim is hiding some serious health woes from Sally, after he discovered that he needs triple heart bypass surgery following some concerning test results.
In scenes set to air next week, Tim lets his health worries get the better of him and continues to behave strangely following the news that he needs the operation.

Although Tim is keen to keep his recent diagnosis from Sally, his wife soon begins to suspect that something isn't right with him – but she ultimately jumps to the wrong conclusion.
Unable to let go of the idea that Tim is having an affair, Sally calls in at Number 13 and confides in Abi Webster about the situation.
While chatting with Abi, Sally admits that she has been secretly tracking Tim after installing an app on his phone.
When she looks at the app, she discovers that Tim is at a hotel. Convinced that her suspicions are correct, Sally heads to the hotel to confront him and his "fancy piece".

When she arrives at the hotel, she spots Tim sitting at the bar with a bottle of fizz and two glasses beside him. Angry and confused, Sally walks over in a bid to uncover the truth.
How will Tim react – and what will Sally do when she eventually discovers the real reason for Tim's unusual behaviour?
Coronation Street airs these scenes on Wednesday, January 19 at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV.
