Netflix Cancels Major Show After Two Seasons
Netflix has canceled another one of its major shows, with this one getting the ax after only two seasons. Variety reports that hit sci-fi drama Raising Dion has been dropped by the streamer, following its recent season debut. The news seems to have been revealed by series star Sammi Haney, who shared the news with fans on Instagram. "Sad to say that Raising Dion is CANCELED [sic] Thank you for all of the amazing support we got from all of our wonderful fans!" Haney wrote, in part. "Season 2 was a success, equal to Season 1, even if just looking at how many people watched all of it and wanted a season 3!"

Riding solo after longtime co-star Melissa McBride dropped out of The Walking Dead's Daryl-Carol spinoff, Reedus returns as Daryl Dixon in the sequel series taking the lone zombie apocalypse survivor in a new direction: Europe. The untitled spinoff, which will take place and film overseas this summer with ER alum and showrunner David Zabel, could reunite Reedus with "lost" characters who went missing from the Walking Dead Universe. On Friday, Disney+ released a first look clip from the series' upcoming third season, which is expected to debut on Disney+ later this summer. The clip was released alongside the news that the show has already been renewed for a fourth season. The clip not only provides a look at what the series' cast and crew will be up to at the summer sleepaway camp of Camp Shadow Lake, but reveals the first footage of original High School Musical star Corbin Bleu on the series. Bleu, who previously played Chad Danforth across the High School Musical movies, will be portraying a fictionalized version of himself in the new season.
