“I’m sorry. We are thinking about today,” Harris responded to NBC’s Craig Melvin. “I mean, honestly I — I — I know why you’re asking the question, because this is part of the punditry and the gossip around places like Washington, D.C.”

“Let me just tell you something, we’re focused on the things in front of us,” she added. “We’re focused on what we need to do to — to address issues like affordable child care.”

When asked if there had even been conversations about 2024, Harris offered no answer.
“The American people sent us to do a job, and right now, there is a lot of work to be done, and that’s my focus.”
The vice president also appeared stunned and taken aback when the host asked if she had read about a possible Biden-Cheney ticket in 2024.

“I did not. No, I did not, and I really could care less about the high-class gossip on these issues,” Harris said.
