VIDEO: Man on e-bike seen firing gun at speed camera at Queens intersection

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are searching for a man who was caught on surveillance video repeatedly firing a gun at a city speed camera in Queens earlier this month, authorities said.

The incident occurred just after 3 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 7, at the intersection of 86th Street and 158th Avenue in Howard Beach.

According to officials, the suspect was traveling on an e-bike when he approached an NYC DOT speed camera and discharged a firearm, striking the camera multiple times.

There were no injuries reported as a result of this shooting.
