Fuller finished 2021 with 77 tackles, 16 pass defenses, one interception and one sack in 16 games.

Fuller missed Week 15 on the reserve/COVID-19 list but otherwise played every game, taking 96.9 percent of Washington's defensive snaps in those contests. While he started the year slow and took some blame as one of the veteran leaders of an underperforming defense, Fuller ultimately put together another solid campaign, tying for sixth in the league in passes defended and getting the second-best PFF grade (81.5) of his career. He'll turn 27 in February and should be back as a key starter next year, with two seasons remaining on a four-year, $40 million contract.
