A unique dating show is coming to a streaming service this month, centered around teens helping their single parents find love.
“My Mom, Your Dad” premieres on HBO Max on Thursday, Jan. 13. The series, according to HBO Max, follows a group of single parents who have been nominated by their college-age kids for a second chance at love. The series comes from the producers behind “Love Island” and “Parks & Recreation.”
The parents move into a house together, unaware their adult children are right down the street living in a second house. The children are watching their parents with hidden cameras and have the ability to manipulate their encounters, such as turning on sprinklers to end a date early or setting up special moments.
From hilarious cringe-worthy moments to heartwarming confessions, ”My Mom, Your Dad” is a unique dating show that gives the children of contestants the option to select who they’ll be matched with on one-on-one dates. The series is hosted by standup comedian Yvonne Orji.
