Stastny (lower body) has been designated for the league's COVID-19 protocols Thursday.
Stastny has registered three goals and one assist in his last three contests but is currently dealing with a lower-body injury in addition to his placement in the protocols. At this point, the 36-year-old center won't be an option against the Red Wings on Thursday and could be sidelined even longer.
